Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Yomimono. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Yomimono.
Who provides the service
Yomimono is operated by Grzegorz Biesiadecki, an individual based in Poland. Contact: hello@yomimono.ai.
What Yomimono is
Yomimono generates Japanese reading practice tailored to your textbook, chapter, and vocabulary. Stories are produced by an AI language model and may contain mistakes, awkward phrasing, or inaccuracies. Treat output as practice material, not as a reference grammar or translation.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your email account secure, since sign-in is by magic link.
- One account per person. Don't share accounts.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page inside the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all your data is removed. After deleting an account, the same email address cannot be used to register again for 14 days.
Fair use
Each user has a generation quota (currently 3 stories per 24 hours). Don't try to circumvent it, create multiple accounts to multiply it, delete and re-create accounts to reset it, automate requests, or use the service in any way that puts unreasonable load on it. If you do, I may suspend or delete your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Yomimono to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harassing, or hateful.
- Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or train models on the output.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the service's security.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the generated stories.
Content and ownership
Stories generated for you are yours to read, save, and study personally. The underlying app, design, and code remain mine. AI output is not copyrightable in most jurisdictions; I make no claim of copyright over generated stories.
Service availability
Yomimono is offered as-is and free of charge. I make no guarantee that it will be available, error-free, or that generated content will be accurate. The service may be paused, changed, or shut down at any time, with or without notice.
No warranty, limited liability
To the extent permitted by Polish and EU consumer law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I am not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Yomimono, including reliance on generated content for exams, translations, or any other purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Polish or EU law.
Privacy
How I handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Termination
I may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. You may stop using the service and request deletion at any time.
Changes
I may update these terms over time. The "last updated" date above will change. Significant changes will be announced by email to active users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes that can't be resolved by email will be handled by the competent Polish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
